Dad, Lucas and Me Family Trip- June 2024

Our happy holiday started in Quy Nhon, Binh Dinh. Starting at around 7 o’clock in the morning on 19th of June, Wednesday. After an emotional farewell at my beloved hometown, Quang Nam, we set off to a sea of unknown and fun. After a quick bathroom break, we set off to the vast highway and ended up at the Seagull Hotel Quy Nhon. It was quite a good start for the first day, boosting up my happiness as my dad told the hotels were better to come. We went straight up to our hotel and it was decent for a Vietnamese based hotel. We rested, watched some Da Vinci Learning and a Lotteria based meal was packed for lunch. After the refreshing meal, we went to the swimming pool, had a blast with our guns and played with the sand on the beach. Ending day 1 was a deep drift of sleep…

Explora Science was due after a yummy breakfast buffet at the hotel. We loved it! But things were to come! We went to Explora Science, a museum and had a blast with games, logic, electricity, sand, and a big dome movie to the end of the museum. We stopped for a lunch break and a chicken rice lunch and went straight to our hotel. Sala Grand Hotel was sent as the lobby was at least triple the size of Seagull hotel, and I loved it! There was lemongrass juice, which was SO yummy that I had triples! We went to our bedroom, and HOLY COW it was big with a transparent bathroom (...) and a balcony. We changed into our swimming suits and went into the infinity pool and had some ice cream. YUM. We then went to a nearby Sala restaurant and saw some fire dancing with my pizza. and spaghetti to the end of day 2. 

Change of plans. My dad told us we will go to Nha Trang, VinPearl on an island. I was so happy and freaked out that I couldn’t sleep. We then woke up and drove to the lobby with lemon juice. We then went on a speedboat and whizzed past the sea to go to the island. We immediately went to our room to then go back to the VinPearl playing place. We used face recognition to go in, which I loved! Then, we went to the zoo, saw a lot of animals and trees, then went to the ferris wheel to see the whole map, THEN went to the water park to go on the lazy river, THEN changed our clothes and went to the bumpy car and played it. Then we had heaps of fun staring at the water show. We left early as we couldn’t see a thing in the crowded arena and watched some of the Euros 2024 to end day 3 trip…

Back home, I miss the new things I was to see, but I'm happy to be home. “There’s no place like home” As Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz says. I didn’t know that! New things learnt!
